Course description
Whether your child is an absolute beginner or has already acquired some swimming skills, there is a level suitable for every stage of their aquatic journey.
Swimming lessons offer more than just swimming skills; they provide an enriching experience that promotes the overall development of the child.
Encourage your child to embark on this fantastic aquatic adventure, where they can build their self-confidence, improve coordination and physical strength, and most importantly, have fun while learning to swim.
Swimming is an essential skill for water safety and also opens the door to numerous other exciting water activities.
Choose the swimming course that best suits your child’s needs and accompany them on this incredible aquatic journey.
The benefits of swimming extend far beyond the lessons themselves, as your child will develop valuable skills that will stay with them throughout their life.
This water introduction course is designed for beginner children aged 6 to 8 who have a fear of water. The child will learn to submerge their head in the water, float on their stomach and back. By the end of the course, the goal is for them to be able to move a distance of 7 meters without assistance.
Prerequisites: No specific prerequisites, but the child must be a beginner and between 6 and 8 years old.
This level introduces the child to rhythmic breathing on the side. They will also learn the arm movements of the front crawl and backstroke, which they must perform over a distance of 10 meters without assistance.
Prerequisites: The child must be able to control their breath underwater without blocking their nose. They must have mastered alternating leg movements on the stomach and back with a floating object and be able to swim a distance of 7 meters without assistance.
In this level, the participant will learn to swim the front crawl and back crawl. By the end of the course, they should be able to incorporate side breathing into the front crawl. Additionally, they will be introduced to the arm movements of the breaststroke and the leg kicking of the butterfly.
Prerequisites: The participant must be comfortable swimming in deep water and be able to swim the front crawl and back crawl continuously over a distance of 10 meters without assistance.
In the green level, the participant will reinforce their technique in the front crawl and back crawl while working on endurance. They must swim a distance of 25 meters. By the end of the course, the goal is to have well-coordinated side breathing in the front crawl. Additionally, they will be introduced to breaststroke leg kicking and dolphin kicking.
Prerequisites: The participant must be able to swim the front crawl with side breathing and backstroke comfortably over a distance of 15 meters without excessive fatigue. They must also be able to stay afloat on the water’s surface without touching the bottom for at least 30 seconds. Introduction to diving from the pool edge will also be covered.
In the yellow level, the participant will improve their distance in front crawl, back crawl, and breaststroke. They will also strengthen the leg kicking of the breaststroke and butterfly. By the end of the course, they should be able to execute a dive and swim continuously for a distance of 50 meters in front crawl and backstroke.
Prerequisites: The participant must be able to master front crawl and back crawl with good coordination over a distance of 25 meters. They should have enough endurance to swim at least two pool lengths continuously without getting exhausted. They should also be familiar with breaststroke leg kicking, even if it is not yet perfectly coordinated.
In the orange level, the participant continues to refine all four swimming styles: front crawl, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly, while working on physical endurance. They will be introduced to scissor kick and alternating rotary kick. By the end of the course, the goal is to execute a dive and swim continuously for a distance of 75 meters in front crawl, backstroke, and breaststroke.
Prerequisites: The participant must be able to swim front crawl and back crawl comfortably with excellent coordination over a distance of at least 25 meters. They should have the endurance to swim multiple pool lengths continuously in a 55-minute class without getting exhausted. They should also be able to swim breaststroke for a distance of 15 meters and execute butterfly undulation.
In the red level, the participant consolidates all four swimming styles and improves their endurance by swimming longer distances, ranging from 25 meters in butterfly to 100 meters in front crawl. They will also learn to dive from the starting block. By the end of the course, the goal is to execute a dive and swim continuously for a distance of 100 meters in butterfly, backstroke, breaststroke, and front crawl. The participant’s endurance in swimming 8 pool lengths is timed.
Prerequisites: The participant must have perfect mastery of all four swimming styles: front crawl, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly, over a distance of 50 meters for front crawl and backstroke and 25 meters for breaststroke and butterfly. They must be able to dive from the pool edge and stay on the water’s surface while executing alternating rotary kick for 1 minute.
In the gold level, the program focuses on consolidating and refining the swimming styles. This course can serve as preparation for lifeguarding courses and is intended for teenagers who want to improve their physical fitness.
