Notice of Closure for the Notre-Dame-de-Grâce (Décarie) Community Pool Due to renovations starting in the fall of 2024, the Notre-Dame-de-Grâce (Décarie) Community Pool will be closed to extend its lifespan and ensure its continued viability. During this period, we invite you to use our other pools.
We offer a wide range of training programs for both experienced lifeguards and those looking to enhance their knowledge in the field of lifeguarding and first aid. Additionally, our programs are designed to cater to the diverse needs of participants, whether they are beginners or advanced learners.
- Prerequisites: 13 years old or Bronze Star and examination / Junior 10 (Red Cross Level) or equivalent
- Canadian Lifesaving Manual ($55) and pocket mask ($15) required
- *Training subsidized by the Government of Quebec
- This training is a prerequisite for the National Lifeguard course.
- Your presence is mandatory for the entire duration of the training (16 hours).
- Canadian First Aid Manual ($25) and pocket mask ($15) required.
- *Training subsidized by the Government of Quebec.
- Prerequisites: Be 15 years old / hold the Bronze Cross certification.
- Also hold a current Standard First Aid certificate.
- The Alert manual ($55) is required for this National Lifeguard training.
- *Training subsidized by the Government of Quebec.
